Summary: Display more of your current Microsoft Excel 2003 workbook onscreen.
Need all the screen real estate you can get to display a particular complex Excel 2003 spreadsheet? If you wish, you can hide the formula bar (usually located above the spreadsheet column headers) and add an extra row to your document. While the formula bar is a handy convenience when modifying complex equations, if you need an extra row of data displayed in your spreadsheets:
1. Click "Tools" - "Options".
2. When then "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "View" tab.
3. Uncheck "Formula bar".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
