Summary: Prevent acronyms from triggering the ire of your Excel 2003 spellchecker.
If you commonly write acronyms in uppercase, when spellchecking your Microsoft Excel 2003 spreadsheet, those acronyms may all show up as misspelled words. Instead of adding each acronym separately to the custom dictionary, you can instead have Excel 2003 ignore all words written in all caps.
1. Click "Tools", selecting "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Spelling" tab.
3. Check "Ignore words in UPPERCASE".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
