Summary: Toggle whether or not Excel 2007 should perform automatic function calculations on selected cells in its status bar.
Depending on your configuration, when you highlight cells containing numeric data in Microsoft Excel 2007, the status bar contains the results of function calculations, which may include:
* Average
* Count
* Sum
Plus, the following functions are also available:
* Numerical Count
* Minimum
* Maximum

If you would like to configure which functions are automatically calculated in the status bar, or if you find this information annoying and wish to disable this feature completely, perform the following:
1. Right-click on the status bar.
2. Between "Page Number" and "View Shortcuts" you will see the above-named functions. Check or uncheck each function as desired.
